The Culinary Institute of Michigan, Port Huron is offering a two-day Pastry Techniques and Skills Boot Camp this summer for 9th and 10th graders looking to increase their knowledge of basic baking and pastry techniques. Students will also develop an understanding of the importance of accuracy in baking and pastry formulas and use the products that they work within the skills phase to create finished composed dessert dishes to taste.
