The Port Huron Prowlers announced yesterday that they have agreed to terms on an affiliation agreement with the London Lakers of the Greater Metro Junior A Hockey League (GMHL).  As we noted yesterday the Prowlers just recently signed an alumni of Lakers, Robin Yew. Head Coach and GM, Joe Pace said, “It’s a great opportunity for players at that level of Jr hockey to experience what it means to be a professional and see where they need to be”   He also said that the affiliation allows the management and coaching staff of the London Lakers insight to the systems and operating procedures of the Prowlers and allows the opportunity to call-up players from the London Lakers.

The Tigers won yesterday beating the Seatle Mariners 3-2 at Comerica Park.  Rookie Catcher Jake Rogers came up big throwing out a couple of different runners at critical times.
