A Beautiful Me, a local non-profit aimed at empowering and fostering self-worth in all women of all ages, held their second annual Ride Richmond event this past weekend. With 15, 25 and 40 mile bike rides, participants rode the Macomb Orchard Trail with blue and sunny skies. The day kicked off with helmet fitting by McLaren Macomb, breakfast from the Lions club and much more followed by the ride. Funds raised from the event will go towards a new entrepreneurial closet teaching young women business and leadership skills as well as self-esteem workshops in various schools around the area.
