The Prowlers came out on fire Friday night against the Watertown Wolves to open the final round of playoffs for the FHL Commissioners Cup title. The Prowlers shut out the Wolves 5-0 at McMorran Arena. Michael Santaguida was a wall in the goal protecting the Prowlers net through all three periods. Jonathan Juliano put the first goal in net, 14 minutes into the 1st period. Matt Robertson added a goal in the second period and Brandon Parkhouse had a beautiful short-handed goal to kick off the third period. Then followed by 2 back-to-back goals from Austin Daae assisted by Brandon Parkhouse and Matt Robertson.
Saturday the Prowlers came up short as they again faced the Wolves at McMorran Arena. While they came out strong with Austin Daae scoring the first goal 10 minutes into the 1st period and Branden Parkhouse chipping in a second goal in the second period, it wouldn’t be enough. The Prowlers fell short of the Wolves, 3-2. The playoffs continue this week in Watertown on Tuesday night with puck drop at 6:30. Game 4 will also be held in Watertown. If the series extends to 5 games, the teams will be back for the showdown at McMorran Arena Saturday, April 28 at 7:30.
