On Thursday, September 6, at 5:30 p.m., Port Huron Schools will host a ribbon cutting, immediately followed by a 6 p.m. Open House to launch the district’s new Early
Childhood Center. The location of the new Early Childhood Center is 2400 Garfield St., adjacent to the McKinley Administration Building. The Early Childhood Center is a 38,000 square foot facility and houses 19 classrooms, a cafeteria, a large gross motor room, state of the art technology and a new playground. The Early Childhood Center plans on providing consolidated educational services for students ages 0 to five years old.
