Major Wes Dalberg, Corps Officer of The Salvation Army in Port Huron, is seeking volunteers to ring the bell for The Salvation Army this Holiday season. According to Dalberg, The Army does not have enough bell-ringers to cover their locations during the busiest shopping days of the year. He also says, ” Between now and Christmas they have over 1,600 2 hour slots still needing bell ringers.” The Red Kettles will be at locations in Algonac, Marine City, St.Clair. Marysville, Port Huron, and Fort Gratiot. In addition to the need for bell ringers, The Salvation Army Angel Tree still has over 600 names of children looking to be adopted for Christmas. Angels can be taken from the Angel Tree located in the Target wing of Birchwood Mall, Sperry’s Movie House or Walmart. For more information, you can contact The Salvation Army at 810-984-2679.
