Thirty-four TEC students from eight different programs at St. Clair County Technical Education Center placed in the top 3 in their category February 9 at the regional SkillsUSA competition. Overall, TEC had 45 students compete in the regional contest from Collision Repair, Construction, Culinary Arts, Digital Media Technology, Engineering & Robotics, Information Technology, Metal Machining, and Welding. The Automotive program will compete in its regional competition on February 23 at Macomb Community College. The SkillsUSA state competition will be April 5-7 in Grand Rapids. Congratulations to all student to compete in the competitions.
