On Sunday, December 16, Port Huron Schools Superintendent Jamie Cain announced a new partnership the district is forming with the locally-based global technology, design, and manufacturing company P.J. Wallbank Springs., Inc. Wallbank Springs, Inc. will be the official business partner for the Engineering STEAM labs and programs at Port Huron and Port Huron Northern High Schools. The partnership will be a beneficial and exclusive engagement between Port Huron Schools and P.J. Wallbank, providing benefits such as Real world application for students to identify in local manufacturing pathways of all levels. It also provides student access and relationship building opportunities, professional mentoring in the Engineering STEAM program’s field of study as well as Talent development for the next generation of the workforce at P.J. Wallbank Springs, Inc.
