Students at Holland Woods Middle School had a surprise waiting for them when they arrived at their lockers on Wednesday morning. A post-it note was placed on each locker with a positive message written on each one. Holland Woods Assistant Principal Michelle Kristick said the idea was completely “kid driven”. The 3 anonymous students, said Kristick wanted to “put a smile on faces at the school.” Kristick said they accomplished that with messages which read, You’re a Smart Cookie, You have the Best Laugh, and You could survive a Zombie Apocalypse, just to name a few. She added, “imagine getting to your locker in the morning and seeing the Zombie Apocalypse note, if that doesn’t make you laugh,” [well, nothing will].
