The Black River Walk in downtown Port Huron will see additions to it’s trail come this summer. The Blue Water Young Professionals and the City of Port Huron’s Park and Recreation Department have been working closely to add to the riverwalk. Recently, the Port Huron City Council approved a grant from the Michigan DNR. Some of the additions to the project will include a trailhead sign that shows relation to the Blue Water Riverwalk. The grant will also go towards to purchase of trail signs and an ADA compliant kayak launch.
