The Great Lakes and rivers around Michigan have been a superhighway of commerce for many years now. The Center for Michigan, a nonprofit and nonpartisan organization, is inviting local residents to a forum where they can discuss their own individual water priorities. The Center’s objective is to make Michigan a better place by involving its citizens in policy issues to create better understanding and involvement. On Monday, September 23rd at 4 pm the group will be at Lake FX Grill in Port Huron to discuss our waterways and their relation to economic activity. The topic of discussion will center around how Michiganders should approach growing our economy while caring for our waters. There is no cost to attend the event.
