America’s Boating Club of the Blue Water Area, a non-profit, formerly known as the Port Huron Power Squadron, is offering a basic low cost boating safety course in Port Huron this fall. The six-week course is designed to familiarize recreational boat operators with the fundamentals of safe boating. The course is open to everyone whether they own a boat or not. The course includes an introduction to safe boating practices, boat safety equipment, and Michigan boating laws. It provides operator certification for Personal Water Craft.
