Starting Friday, August 24 through Wednesday, September 5th Art Van customers throughout Michigan and the Midwest can bring in their worn and torn American flags to Art Van Showrooms. At no cost customers can trade their old flag for a new 3-foot-by-5-foot flag. The flag exchange program started last year and since then more than 16,000 flags have been exchanged. After the exchange, the old American flags are disposed of respectfully in accordance with the United States Flag Code.
