4-H has long been a program that helps young people to grow and learn while doing hands-on work.  Today’s 4-H is not just for kids who live on farms. 4-H now has programming that teaches science and technology to clothing and textiles. The St. Clair County 4-H Youth Program is having an open house this Saturday from 10 to 2 PM at the Goodells County Park.  The open house will showcase some of the latest concepts. Adults and kids who are interested in 4-H, but who want to know more, should stop by the open house. There is no charge to attend. Some of the activities featured at the event will be: hands on BB gun, dog agility, Robotics, hands on archery, meet a llama, and much more.  The open house is sponsored through the MSU Extension. It hopes to grow kids who are confident, strong, and curious enough to question, and capable enough to find the answers.
