The Great Lakes Titanic Connection group will be holding a ceremony dedicating a bronze ship’s wheel with the names of the 69 passengers cast in the center that were Michigan bound on Titanic that fateful night 106 years ago. The ceremony will be held in Nautical Park in Marine City starting at 2 pm. Following the ceremony, two Titanic lectures will be given, one lecture is about Ralph White, cinematographer for James Cameron and the person who has been down to Titanic the most, and the second lecture is by David Kaplan, historian and world traveler doing his “What Happened To The Survivors” lecture.
