The St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office is partnering with the Office of Highway Safety Planning to get drunk drivers off the roads and help save lives. The high-visibility national enforcement campaign, Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over, runs from August 17 th through September 3 rd. During this period, deputies from the Sheriff’s Office and other local law enforcement agencies will show zero tolerance for drunk and drugged driving. Sheriff Tim Donnellon said, “Drunk and drugged driving continues to be a huge problem in St. Clair County and nationwide. The department is proud to be a part of the campaign to get drunk and drugged drivers off the road before they injure or kill themselves or someone else.”
